SEAT Leon ST is a front-wheel-drive station wagon of the C-class, presented in September 2013 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. According to the developers, the model combines practicality and sportiness. The latter characteristic is especially true when it comes to the performance of the Seat Leon ST FR.

As in the case with "Leon" in the hatchback body, the FR modification is distinguished not only by a more aggressive body kit and powerful engines, but also by a list of additional options. So, for the top performance, for example, adaptive cruise control and full LED headlights are provided. It is noteworthy that the range of set speeds for cruise control is very wide (from 30 to 160 km / h), and it is available both for cars with manual gearboxes and with preselective DSG.

In addition, a customizable Adaptive Chassis Control chassis is offered for the FR-ki, in which the driver can choose one of three preset driving modes (Sport, Comfort and Eco), or individually adapt individual elements of the system (damper stiffness, responses steering wheel and gas pedal) for themselves.

The range of power plants for the European market will include the following gasoline (TSI) and diesel (TDI) engines:

• 1.0 TSI (115 hp, 200 Nm);

• 1.2 TSI (86 hp 160 Nm and 110 hp 175 Nm);

• 1.4 TSI (110 hp, 200 Nm and; 125 hp, 200 Nm and 150 hp, 250 Nm);

• 1.8 TFSI (180 hp, 250 Nm)

• 1.6 TDI (90 HP 230 Nm and 115 HP 250 Nm)

• 2.0 TDI (110 HP, 250 Nm; 150 HP, 340 Nm; 184 HP, 380 Nm)

Engines 1.2 TSI (86 hp) and 1.6 TDI (90 hp and 115 hp) are combined with a 5-speed "mechanics". Other motors are available with a 6-speed manual transmission, as well as six- or seven-speed DSG “robots”.

In Ukraine Seat Leon ST is available with petrol powertrains:

• 1.2 TSI (110 hp) + 5-speed "mechanics". Acceleration 0-100 km / h in 10.1 seconds, fuel consumption (hereinafter - in the combined cycle) 5.3 l / 100 km;
• 1.4 TSI (150 hp) + 7-speed DSG. Acceleration 0-100 km / h in 8.2 seconds, consumption 5.8 l / 100 km;
• 1.8 TFSI (180 hp) + 7-speed DSG. Acceleration 0-100 km / h in 7.7 seconds, consumption 5.8 l / 100 km.

According to the passport data, the trunk of the SEAT Leon ST (587 l) turned out to be not as huge as that of the soplatform Skoda Octavia Combi (610 l) and VW Golf Variant (605 l). Nevertheless, this volume of the five-door turned out to be enough to furnish, for example, Chevrolet Cruze SW (500 l), Ford Focus Estate (476 l) and Opel Astra ST (500 l).

With the backs of the rear sofa folded down, the “hold” of the Spanish station wagon can easily be increased to 1,470 liters. In addition to everything, a folding front passenger seat can be ordered as an option, which will allow you to carry long loads in the car.

The Seat Leon ST comes standard with 6 airbags (2 frontal, 2 front side and 2 curtain airbags), ABS, ASR (traction control), ESP and an Electronic Differential Lock Simulation (EDL). Also available is an automatic braking system after a collision to avoid repeated collisions, electrically adjustable and heated mirrors, air conditioning and a media system with a 5-inch display (4 speakers). In the "senior" trim levels, there is an XDS wheel lock simulation system, LED daytime running lights, lumbar support for the driver's seat, climate control, cruise control, a "winter package" (heated front seats and washer nozzles), as well as a multimedia complex with a color touch screen. display. 

The list of additional Leon ST options includes: rear side airbags and a driver's knee airbag, parking sensors, a parking assistant, a rear view camera, an emergency braking system at "city" speeds, rear-view mirrors with automatic folding, power driver's seat. In addition, you can order a panoramic electric sunroof, LED interior package (illumination of the leg area and makeup mirrors), a media system with 10 speakers and a subwoofer, keyless entry, Full LED headlights and LED taillights, adaptive cruise control, leather interior and other equipment.

Serial production of the Seat Leon ST is organized in Spain.
